Wesley started working at the Midland Country Club his first summer out of High School before the First Semester at Central Michigan University. There he was first introduced to most of the basic cultural practices as well as the work ethic it takes to perform throughout the tough golf course seasons.
Many years later, after having gained many experiences, Wesley rejoined Midland to learn from a major renovation. Midland was in the final stages of renovation of the golf course and he knew that renovations to this scale are rare and the opportunity to experience them are invaluable.
