Pest Scouting and Identification
Wesley helps with daily scouting and pest identication. He is expected to use turf knowledge to see potential problems and report anomolies. Using Integrated Pest Management, Wesley helps the golf course superintendent make informed decisions.

Our most important asset is our people. Wesley has always maintained a great rapore with all co-workers, subordinates and superiors. At GlenArbor Wesley has been responsible for daily crew management. Wesley has a way of connecting with people and others warm up to him quickly. The key to successful relationships is honest communication and respect. He knows some spanish and communicates well with others.
Cultural Practices
GlenArbor utilizes most common cultural practices. The members are educated and understand the benefits to disrupting the surfaces for long term sustainability.

Irrigation
At GlenArbor Wesley has taken ownership of irrigation mantainance, troubleshooting, and monitoring. He also has experience with automatic programing using Toro SitePro as well as mutimanual operation using handheld radios, and Network 8000 and Network VP satelites

Chemicals and Fertilizers
Wesley is responsible for most greens and fairways chemical and fertilizer applications. He takes this and all other responsibilities very seriously. GlenArbor has 27 Green Surfaces, including a nursery, and just over 22 Acres of fairways.
At GlenArbor Golf Club, Wesley became familiar with the Best Management Practices for New York model. Our responsibilty remains Environmental Conservation. Limiting the impact does not have to cost an excess amount of money or limit member expectaions. By educating ourselves we can set ourselves up for success far into the future.

At GlenArbor Wesley Has worked with several interns. Throughout the years of developing his skills he has learned from some very knowledgable people. He believes it is part of our responsiblity to the industry to help mentor students and give back whenever possible.
