Bel-Air Country Club

Los Angelos, California Est. 1928

Wesley did his internship at the Bel-Air County Club in Los Angeles, California.  There he lived on site and gained a first hand knowledge of most of the cultural practices involved in maintaining a golf course. Through Michigan State University, Wesley was trained by seven assistant superintendents under the supervision of the head superintendent. He did whatever was asked and learned a great deal at one of the top courses in the nation.

Handwatering
Bunker Maintainance
Big roll sod installation
Aerification
Sprayhawk Applications
The rules of Golf
String Trimming
The gallery on the left shows some of the basic practices used maintaining golf courses. At Bel-air Wesley was exposed to all the practices seen here.
